We would love to introduce Chloe, an umbrella cockatoo. She is full of personality, fun, sassy, loud, crazy, and delightfully chaotic in all the ways cockatoo lovers adore. She requires a lot of time and energy and wants to be a big part of your life. We are working on introducing more fresh foods to her diet slowly. We are also working on playing with toys to keep her busy. She is still barbering her feathers, but they’re steadily improving and looking better as she settles in and feels more secure.

Chloe is also wonderfully social. She enjoys interacting with visitors and is accustomed to sharing her space with many humans, dogs, cats, turtles, and tortoises. Chloe loves being part of the action. She enjoys “attending” whatever her humans are doing and thrives when she’s included. Like any cockatoo, she can be loud, but following a consistent sleep schedule has been incredibly helpful for her. She’s flexible with the rhythms of life and really just wants to be involved.

She would probably thrive best with an owner who has cockatoo experience or someone who has done extensive research and is completely committed to learning how to share their life with a cockatoo. To meet Chloe and see if you're her next companion, please submit your adoption form.
