A playful nod to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” and the “Free Bird” sign he was found beside, Lynyrd is a cockatiel with a mysterious past and a voice that refuses to go unnoticed.Sometimes the universe really commits to a bit.

When so inclined to be vocal, Lynyrd is absolutely delighted to share his musical opinions. His fosters swear he’s picked up parts of “If You’re Happy and You Know It” and the classic cockatiel “Cookie cookie” song. He’s got rhythm, charm, and the confidence of a bird who knows he’s handsome.

He’s not hand-tame yet, but he’s curious, observant, and clearly wants to be part of the action. His fosters can get quite close with millet in hand before he will flee. With time, he could go from hallway castaway to beloved family member.
